My work isn’t about reality it’s about a feeling. My mind holds the emotions I feel when viewing a seascape or vast sky. The smell, the noise, the wind, the warmth, the cold, are just as important as the visual. All this is held in my mind until I put paint to canvas. I try to capture the immensity and movement of the sea and sky. The weather, mood, colour and light are ever changing.
